September in Maryland: Native Plant Sales

A bunch of plant sales across the State!

So many options for acquiring native plants lie ahead. In addition to all of the locally owned, native plant nurseries, a number of limited time sales are coming up. These are excellent opportunities for finding straight species and local eco-type natives. These are the plants that have not been hybridized. In other words, these plants are the real deal!


Bona Terra DC (Anne Arundel County): Saturday, September 2nd

Bona Terra is holding a FREE seedling give away as part of their commitment to getting a million more native plants in the ground this year. Mountain Laurel Garden Club (Garrett County): Saturday, September 2nd

Native plants and a corn roast? Sounds good to me! While I have not been to this sale, it looks like a terrific resource.


Environmental Concern (Talbot County): September 8th and 9th

Fountain Rock Native Plant Sale (Frederick County): Saturday, September 23rd
